My Background
From an early age, I developed a strong affinity for numbers, which guided my educational and professional journey. This natural inclination led me to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering, providing a solid foundation in technical problem-solving and analytical thinking. Eager to expand my horizons, I went on to earn a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) two decades ago. It was during this time that I was first introduced to accounting, a field that immediately resonated with me. The logical structure and problem-solving nature of accounting captivated my interest, and I soon discovered a deep passion for the discipline.
In the initial phase of my career, I worked as a Radio Frequency Engineer with leading Fortune 500 wireless telecom companies. This role allowed me to build expertise in technology and communication systems, but I eventually sought new challenges and transitioned into a Senior Project Manager role in Information Technology. In this capacity, I honed my leadership and project management skills, overseeing large-scale initiatives. Despite my success in the IT field, my growing passion for accounting remained at the forefront of my aspirations, and I knew I wanted to explore this area further.
Motivated by my desire to dive deeper into accounting, I pursued and achieved certifications in QuickBooks Level 1, QuickBooks Level 2, and QuickBooks Payroll. These certifications equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of financial management software and payroll systems, which I have been able to apply in my current role.
Over the past year, I transitioned into bookkeeping, focusing on providing financial services to clients in Austin, TX. This role has allowed me to leverage my passion for numbers while offering essential financial solutions to a diverse range of businesses. I have built a loyal client base by delivering accurate, reliable, and timely bookkeeping services, earning trust and satisfaction from those I serve.
